Substance abuse and chemical dependency (including alcohol) are prevalent issues and can be one of the most devastating mental health challenges for an individual.  Friends and family of those who suffer from substance abuse and dependency are often affected.  Two of the greatest challenges to overcome is the initial denial by the individual that a substance abuse issue or problem even exists, and then knowing what the best course of action/intervention is once the problem has been identified.

Dr. Sanchez has 18 years of experience working in the mental health field, including diagnosing, treating, and coordinating services for those who are affected by substance abuse.  Dr. Sanchez works closely with a transitional/sober living facility here in the Miami area and can coordinate an admission into this sober living facility if needed.
